The owner greeted us at the door and was very pleasant to work on finding our needs. The employees workers are friendly and helpful. They will light up the lamps for you to check and make sure you're happy with the lightning that it will give off. They will wrap and make sure your lamps are well handled. Very unprofessional, almost bait and switch. We found a big 3 ft light bar we liked. It was priced at $299 on the tag hanging on the piece but with their “50% off special” it would be $150. We went up front to buy it and was told “it’s sold as a pair”. Meaning we needed to spend $300 to buy two pieces, once of which we don’t need or want to spend time getting rid of. The clerk looked up the light bar online in front of us and this model is sold as single unit everywhere; it’s not boxed together or anything. There’s absolutely no reason to be sold together! But then clerk tried to run us around saying “it costs $300 online for 1 therefore you have to buy them both as a pair.” We noped out of there. What a scam, it’s almost like they realized their 50% off discount undervalued the piece so they tried to move inventory by “forcing” us to buy two and spend more money. Don’t fall for it. We bought our piece online after all.read more

Very beautiful lighting store and very helpful owner. Huge selection. On the expensive side though and their color coded pricing signs can be confusing. It is not as if their most popular pieces are unique and we ended up buying a similar sized 5 ring crystal chandelier (minus the bottom crystals) for our tall foyer from a box store's online selection for 1/3rd the price installed. But if money is not an issue, definitely a one stop shop with good service and hassle-free.read more

My Wife & I went to this store on this Saturday to look for our Lighting needs, & we were amazed at the Selection they had. Maybe thousands. We bought a Foyer & Dining Crystal chandeliers at an excellent price, because they looked at the Internet to find the cheapest price for the fixtures we were buying and by that way they saved us money, we thought that was very clever to make us stay & purchase. Today they installed them for us. We are from NY, & they gave us the same service we are used to in my state. Don't waist your time going to other Lighting stores, I have already been, with my wife, to almost 8 of them. Lux Lighting has over ten thousand products in stock for you to feel, see, & touch, and take it with you after you purchase. Thankfully we came back, because some of the other stores had cheaper prices, but Hershel had way more selection, and he even came down in price to match, and then went down in price to $200 cheaper! We loved all the lights so much! He even gives you a 60% off! Our lights were originally 10,000 and went all the way down to 3,000 that’s the best deal! He also treats his customers very well. He is trying to help you. The only reason why the prices were “high” is because it a lot of hard work. I honestly loved the customer service and prices. Don't be fooled thinking Lux has the best prices!. Hershel quoted us $3,000 for a chandelier plus $60 for the chain to hang the item and the ceiling cover. The chain and cover are included from the manufacturer! We found the exact chandelier for $2,019 at Masterpiece in midtown. Hershel also stated that our chandelier weighted 285 lbs and required an extra fee for installation. The actual weight is 67 lbs and we found an electrician who will will install for less than 50% of the $800 quoted by Lux. Lux's total cost for the chandelier plus another foyer light is $4,450 and we will end up spending $3,700.read more

So excited to find a lighting store that is open on weekends and appeals not only to the builder but also to the homeowner just trying to remodel their home. From the minute we walked in, the owner was attentive and helpful and we were able to find everything we were looking for in one stop. Decided to take a ride today with a friend that is redoing a recently purchased fixer upper. I inherited a beautiful, antique bronze, statue lamp that had been my grandmother’s, then my mother’s, and now mine. The lamp is over 100 years old and still worked, but still had the original wiring. I wanted the lamp rewired to bring it up to today’s safety standards and a friend recommended Lux Lighting. I was greeted when I walked into the store. Everyone was friendly and Hershel came over to help me. My lamp had complex wiring because of the unusual design. Wiring ran in and out of a two different bronze baskets, through a log from opposite sides, through both shoulders on opposite sides of the statue, met in the middle and ran down through the spine and then out of the statue into the base through opposite legs. The task was not a run-of-the-mill wiring job. Hershel and his crew were able to rewire my complicated antique lamp successfully and it looks and works great. I thought the charges were reasonable for what had to be done, the work was completed in a timely manner, and great care was taken with my lamp that held great sentimental value to me. Hershel even re-stained the 100 year old scuffed up based and added a felt piece on the base’s bottom at no charge. I would highly recommend Hershel and his business. I was not in need of lighting for my house, but while standing at the counter I couldn’t help but notice the gorgeous chandeliers and light fixtures hanging from the ceiling and the walls. If I were looking for lighting, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to look at his huge inventory. If you don’t live near Lux Lighting, it’s worth the drive!read more

Fixing my unique lamps wasn't a challenge for Hershel. He did an amazing job fixing the upper base of where the main bulb is placed. This is my favorite lighting store. Great prices, great selection, and the owner is very helpful and service oriented. It is so much better to see all the fixtures hanging together so you can get a true feel for the size to know if it is right for your space. It is also makes it easier to coordinate if you are buying multiple fixtures to occupy a common space. You can’t do that when you are buying online. How lucky we are to live so close to this incredible lighting superstore! Even if I lived in a nearby state, I would drive to Lux because I have not found a bigger showroom or better prices. All styles of wall and ceiling lights are displayed and ready for purchase. You'll want to have plenty of time to look and be dazzled by the incomparable choices of lighting! The store owner Hershel is friendly and knowledgable. He didn't carry a particular light we wanted, but he ordered it from the company and still discounted the price! Hershel employs a highly-skilled lighting installer Robert, who connected a large 2-story crystal chandelier, which required additional prep work, along with several other chandeliers in our home. Robert is so busy that you may need to wait several weeks to get on his schedule. He arrived promptly and took care to avoid any damage to our ceilings or floors. Hershel also has someone who does repairs. That person expertly cleaned and re-wired a delicate, antique, cut glass lamp for me. I rarely leave reviews on-line, but Lux Lighting deserves every accolade!read more

I had lux lighting come out to clean and move my chandeliers. They were so fragile with them during the entire transport. They possess such knowledge that they informed me details about my crystal chandelier that I had no clue even existed. Once my chandeliers were cleaned and rehung, they looked as if they belonged in a castle. I don’t believe they ever looked that good before, not even when I first purchased them. We searched in Metro Atlanta for a lighting company that we could trust to repair a Stiffel Floor Lamp that we had purchased many years ago. Finding one was very difficult until we saw Lux Lighting on the internet. We went to the store on Venture Blvd in Duluth Georgia, met the owners and toured the store to see if we would trust them with our repairs. Don't waist your time going to other lighting stores, Exceptionally an outstanding store. You really have to take your time to see everything. They must have thousands and thousands of lights. They also have current products that my husband & I have been looking for On-Line for hours & hours. Their prices are very honest. They look-up model numbers & manufacture names on-line, then when they match for the same price, they gave us 25% Off. Their installation was a little too high, so we have our own guys to do them. Unprofessional way of doing business, they purposefully not having any price on the items, and play game with you, such as telling you what others are changing for the same item without proof, then tell you they are giving you a 25% discount, when in fact their prices are outrageous and they are free to quot you any figure they want. In their store you couldn't really shop because everything has no prices for you to evaluate. You have to ask for price for every one. Its a totally shady business model and a total of wasted time. Don't go there!read more

I took my antique, turn of the century lamp in to Lux Lighting for rewiring and to fix a couple broken glass panes. This wasn’t an easy task, but Hershel and his team were able to find the stained glass, mold it, and rewire. I’m so happy my lamp is now fixed and can be used! I highly recommend Lux Lighting for repairs, and even though I didn’t need fixtures/chandeliers/other lighting, they have a massive selection in the store.read more
